I just modified the default password of the Wifi Direct however upon reconnecting, it does not accept my password. I tried resetting the machine to factory defaults but still the wifi direct was not
reset. Also printed out wireless network reports to check if the password is their but unfortunately it was not indicated in the report. Please help.

We can perform a semi-full reset on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Already performed the factory reset option quite a few times but it doesn’t reset the wifi direct settings. I still cannot connect using the default password 12345678 and the password details shown on screen was masked out by asterisks ********. I did print a printer information to see if it shows the wifi direct password but to no avail. It only stated something like “For security purposes, wifi direct is not shown. Please contact the person who set up the printer”.
