Please help - I have been unable to print for 2 months now. 

I have forgotten the wireless password for my printer ( only 15 months old) . I bought it during lockdown AND we were refurbishing our house - so not normal times.

Now we have a new router and I cannot get the wireless print to work. Have bought new cables etc thinking that I can override it that way - NO! nothing works.

It keeps asking for a password. The HP customer service is beyond dreadful and I have been reduced to tears weekly when i resolve "to sort it once and for all".

I am at my wits end and HP don't seem to be bothered. 

Please , please can any of you super smart people help?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand you are experiencing an issue with the password, 

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
