Product: HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

After replacing my old gateway with a Google Mesh system and a different SSID, I heeded too update the p110w2 LaserJet to join the network.  The process went smoothly with the printer connected to my Mac (Monterey)  via USB until selecting the network to join.  Mine is "S. Paradise", a name that all my other devices accept without complaint, but the setup stops dead with the above message.  I tried several other,  simpler names that show up in list of nearby networks, and they, too, are rejected with the same message. Reloading printer drivers and software does nothing to get around this.  

 

Weirder yet, Googling the exact text of the message: 'Current Network Name (SSID) is Invalid' yielded no hits! 

Why ME? I cannot be the first person with this printer to change an SSID and a router!
