Hi @Art87740,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your HP 250 printer is displaying a question mark on the screen and not printing, this could indicate several potential issues, commonly related to connectivity, settings, or linked devices. I would request you to please follow the steps.

Check Ink Cartridges

  • Open the cartridge access door.
  • Ensure both cartridges are installed correctly and are genuine HP cartridges.
  • Remove and reseat them firmly.
  • If the cartridges are empty or incompatible, replace them.

Reset the Printer

  • Perform a semi-full reset: unplug the printer, hold down the # and 3 keys while plugging it back in.
  • This clears temporary errors but keeps user settings.

Update Printer Firmware/Drivers

  • On your computer, download the latest drivers/firmware for the HP 250 model from the HP Support website.
  • Install updates and restart both printer and computer.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility, which can diagnose and fix common printer issues.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!
