I have a HP 2700e printer which has been printing fine until today, the report says connection is good no issues wifi and the message that comes up is "could not be printed" no error code nothing, same if i try to print from my chrome book or iphone, tried the "virtual assistant" absolutely hopeless , Tried switching everything off and rebooting, same problem. Do not understand why this is happening and why it wont work? help please

To understand the issue and help you, please get back to me with the details listed below:


- Let me know if the printer is connected to Windows Computer or MAC Computer or Android Phone or iPhone.

- Let me know the version of the operating system installed on the computer. 

- Connection method - USB, physical LAN, or wireless?
- Error messages (if any) on the unit. 

- Are you able to make a copy of a document from the unit (Place a printed document on the scanner and make a black copy).

hello, I have a chromebook so it is connect to that , also iphone but it wont connect to that after being connected previously the iphone wont find the printer, connected wirelessly , yes can print a copy

there is no error code , just says cannot print 

I have to go into the app on the chromebook it says private pick up files when i go to that it shows my attempts to print in there and just "error printing"

Please follow the steps listed below to print from your HP Chromebook.
1. Open the Chrome browser, and then go to this Link
HP Print for Chrome app window opens.
2. Click ADD TO CHROME, and then follow the on-screen instructions. The HP Print for Chrome window opens.
3. Close the window, and then continue to the next step.
4. From the Chrome browser, open the document or image you want to print.
5. Click the Print icon. The Print window opens.
6. Under Destination, click the Change button. Select a destination window opens.
7. Under Print Destinations, select your printer.
8. Change any print settings if necessary, and then click Print.
