It was my impression that the 2755e printer will print direct from my phone. I gave had an jssue for over a year with this printer. Hours trying to print a document from my phone. Hours on the phone with HP. I bet I have printed over a hundred Printer Information Pages. I might get lucky and get ut to print a document once every 2 or 3 months. But the next time I try to print it won't. This printer is the most frustrating purchase I have ever made. I DO NOT HAVE WIFI. I cannot afford it. I live out in the country. I have cancer. I pay for instant ink but they just tell me to pay. This is basically a copier. I hate this printer. I am below half on my ink levels but they haven't sent ink.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

An Instant Ink subscription requires that the printer be connected to the Internet so the printer can notify the Service that ink is needed.  No, I cannot explain what is going on.

You did not say -- Without Wi-Fi, you might be using a USB cable connection the printer to the computer.  No computer?  You are perhaps using Wi-Fi Direct.

Wi-Fi Direct works by using the wireless radio on the printer to connect the printer to the computer, or - in this case - your phone.  I would guess that "something" is not right with the connection:  the printer is perhaps too close or too far away from the phone.

Hang in there - I've asked the moderator team to take a look at your questions.

Hopefully, we can get some help to sort the problems and find solutions for you.

I've included references and places to find help on connecting the printer (near the end of this message).
