Hi @runr927,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I understand your printer has lost the wireless connectivity. Not to worry I'd do my best to resolve the connectivity issue and get the printer back online.
As you mentioned it is a common wireless network, please check with the admin if they have changed the password or made any changes that could have disconnected the connection.
If no change has been made then follow the steps below:
Let us try to restore the printer to the default network settings, and then use HP Smart App from your mobile device to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Step 1:
Restore network default settings on the printer, to do that - From the Wireless or Setup menu, select Network setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings.
Step 2:
Uninstall and re-install the HP Smart app on your mobile device.
Place the printer and the mobile device near the Wi-Fi router.
Turn on Wi-Fi on your mobile device and connect to your network.
Enable Bluetooth on the mobile device so that HP Smart can detect the printer during the setup.
After installing HP Smart for iOS and Android, enable the mobile device location service and allow the app to use your location to detect the printer and offer solutions during setup.
In HP Smart, click Add Printer or the plus sign to search for the printer, and then follow the instructions to complete the setup.
If this solution hit the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
Regards,
