Today printer stopped printing from Mac desktop. Received and prints from iPhone and iPad. Have done all the usual steps...Unplugging, restarting, HP online, and ran tests. Tests show connected to WiFi and Mac. When try to print, printer icon appears but soon disappears and system shows nothing in queue. I see several posts similar to mine..... Any help appreciated.

Thanks for your quick reply Brian -
I will keep your solution handy...
Out of curiosity, I selected my printer name in the dropdown when I tried to print again from my mac...
same printer name, just listed again in the dropdown list along with a (fax) listing as well.
When I hit "print" it worked....
I have no idea what this means, but if it stops connecting again, I'll come back to your solution.
Thanks again for your help!

The solution is to download (and install) this package which will update drivers AND THE CERTIFICATE:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-essen...
If the link comes up blank, try right clicking and saving it.
Easy Admin did nothing. Easy Startup did nothing. 5.1 drivers did nothing. This worked for me!
If this solved your issue, please thumbs up and mark as solved!
