An "IP address not connected" error on your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e means the printer has lost its connection to your Wi-Fi network, preventing your Windows 11 PC from communicating with it.
Turn off your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e.
Unplug your Wi-Fi router from the power outlet, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. Allow 2–3 minutes for the network to fully restore.
Power on the printer and check if the wireless icon on the printer's touchscreen lights up solid blue.
On the printer's touchscreen display, swipe down to open the Control Panel.
Tap the Wireless/Network icon or go to Settings $\rightarrow$ Network Setup $\rightarrow$ Wireless Settings.
Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
Select your Wi-Fi network name (SSID), enter your Wi-Fi password, and confirm the connection.
Once connected, print a Network Configuration Page from the network menu to view your newly assigned IP address.
On your Windows 11 PC, press Win + R, type control printers, and press Enter.
Right-click your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e and select Printer properties.
Click the Ports tab and look at the checked port.
If the IP address listed does not match the IP address shown on your printer:
Click Add Port... $\rightarrow$ select Standard TCP/IP Port $\rightarrow$ click New Port.
Follow the wizard and type in the printer's current IP address.
Complete the wizard, ensure the new port is checked, and click Apply.
Open a web browser on Windows 11 and type your printer's IP address into the address bar.
Log into the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) (the default PIN is printed on a sticker inside the cartridge access door).
Go to the Network or Wireless tab $\rightarrow$ IPv4 Configuration.
Change the IP assignment from Automatic (DHCP) to Manual (Static) and save settings.
***How do I find my HP ENVY, IP address using the HP Smart app on Windows 11?
Click the Start menu on Windows 11.
Search for HP Smart and open the app.
Make sure your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e appears on the home screen and shows as Ready or Connected.
Click on the image of your printer or click Printer Settings on the main dashboard.
In the left-hand navigation menu under Settings, click on Printer Information or Advanced Settings.
Look under the Network Information section.
Find the row labeled IP Address (it will look like 192.168.1.X or 10.0.0.X).
Alternative via Advanced Settings (EWS): If you click Advanced Settings, a browser window will open showing the printer's Embedded Web Server page, where the IP address is also displayed in the URL bar and status summary.
I hope the above is helpful
