Cannot print wirelessly from my laptop or iPhone. I have used this printer in the past to print from both. If I try to print from the iPhone, I can see the printer to select it, but it keeps spinning through the selection and then pops back to no printer selected. I have restarted the printer, reset and reconfigured the wireless settings, made sure my phone is on the same network as the printer, and restarted my phone. It shows up in my list of recent printers (the only one on the list actually), but I am unable to select it to print to.
If I try to use my laptop to print a test page, I get a message that says there is a problem communicating with the printer. The print status shows Spooling.

Hi @ikehenthorne,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet 9015 printer isn’t printing wirelessly from either your laptop or iPhone, despite having worked in the past, you can troubleshoot this issue with the following steps:
1. Check Printer Connection
Confirm Wi-Fi Connection:
- Ensure your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. Print a network configuration page from the printer’s control panel to verify the connection.
Network Settings:
- Ensure that both your printer and devices (laptop and iPhone) are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Restart and Power Cycle
- Power Cycle Devices:
- Turn off your printer, router, and both your laptop and iPhone. Wait for 30 seconds, then turn them back on. This helps reset network connections and might resolve connectivity issues.
3. Reconfigure Wireless Settings
Reset Printer Wireless Settings:
- Access the printer’s control panel.
- Navigate to Settings > Network Setup or Wireless Settings.
- Select Restore Network Settings or similar to reset wireless settings.
Reconfigure Wi-Fi Connection:
- Use the printer’s control panel to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your Wi-Fi password.
4. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers
For Windows Laptop:
- Uninstall Old Printer Driver:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Find your printer, select it, and click Remove device.
- Download and Install Latest Driver:
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your HP OfficeJet 9015.
- Install the drivers and follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect your printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
