I recently bought an HP Smart Tank 7005 which worked for a week or so, but after changing our wifi network name at home it's never been able to get back onto our wifi network.
All attempts at getting it to reset to factory settings fail at the first hurdle - I press the 'i' button for five seconds but no other buttons light up.
Have deleted and reinstalled the HP Smart app, have done a full power cycle many times, and nothing. The blue wifi button flashes but I can never get the printer to come online, either as our existing printer or as a new one we can set up afresh.
Any help appreciated! Just bought the thing and it's spent hours driving me crazy...

Hi @Nick_B2
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Not to worry, I'll do my best to reconnect the printer to your wireless network.
Let us try to restore the printer to the default network settings, and then use HP Smart to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Step 1:
Restore network default settings on the printer, to do that -
Use the buttons on the printer control panel to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.
Press any button on the printer control panel to put it in a ready state.
Press and hold the Information button for 5 seconds until the control panel buttons light.
Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button
for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light blinks blue.
Within 2 hours, return to the app or software to find and add your printer and complete the setup.
Step 2:
Uninstall and re-install the HP Smart app on your computer/mobile device.
Place the printer and the computer or mobile device near the Wi-Fi router.
Turn on Wi-Fi on your computer or mobile device and connect to your network. If the computer is connected to the network with an Ethernet cable, temporarily disconnect the cable and use the Wi-Fi connection during the setup.
Enable Bluetooth on the computer or mobile device so that HP Smart can detect the printer during the setup.
After installing HP Smart for iOS and Android, enable the mobile device location service and allow the app to use your location to detect the printer and offer solutions during setup.
Download the HP Smart app from 123.hp.com (Android, Apple iOS, iPadOS).
In HP Smart, click Add Printer or the plus sign to search for the printer, and then follow the instructions to complete the setup.
Let me know if this helps.
