I just resolved this problem on my iPhone iOS 17+ by going into my WiFi setting and clicking the information logo on the right of the active network.   In the subsequent screen there is a setting for Private Wi-Fi Address.  Turning this off corrects the printing and printer selection issue.

I tried this on my iPhone for my Envy 6022e printer, but it didn’t work for me, sadly I still can’t AirPrint. I’ve spoken to Apple about this problem and they say it’s HP that need to work on a Firmware update to enable iOS 17 to AirPrint on their printers.

Not for me either. HP and/or Apple need to issue a fix. Or lose customers.
