Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

We have a new HP CP5225 Printer on-site to replace our old one as that one has pickup feeds jams left right and center. Our new printer arrived and while setting up it, to my surprise I'm unable to get it connected to the network. For some reason there is no "Network Configuration" menu on the printer whereas there was with the last one and when plugging in the ethernet cable; no lights come up (I know the cable is working as i've tested it on other devices) Even printing out a configuration page in reports would display some sort of network information on the right but now nothing. I've also tried factory resetting but to no avail.

I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with this? I think in my head I know it's a formatter issue but I'd rather it not be.

Thanks

Matt
