I am currently experiencing difficulty with accessing the Embedded Web Server (EWS) on our HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw. It seems that the password for the EWS has been forgotten, and I am unable to proceed with making necessary changes to the printer's configuration.

Could you kindly assist me with the following:

  1. Password Reset Procedure: What are the steps to reset the password for the Embedded Web Server on the HP M479fdw?
  2. Accessing the Printer Settings: Is there an alternative way to access the EWS or reset the password directly from the printer’s control panel?
  3. Factory Reset: If a factory reset is necessary to regain access, could you please provide the steps to perform a factory reset on this model?

Any guidance or instructions on how to proceed with resetting the password or accessing the EWS would be greatly appreciated.
