Cant reset the printer to connect to the wireless network.  Printer will not print the internet connection instructions sheet.   I have tried for 2 months to get it to work, following all of the instructions per the support pages.   This product has issues.  We would like to get it replaced asap! plus it a bad design concept etc.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 
I understand how frustrating it can be when your HP DeskJet 2852e won’t connect to Wi-Fi or print the network configuration sheet. Let’s walk through a reliable reset and setup process to get your printer back online.

Restore Network Settings on the Printer

This will clear any previous Wi-Fi settings and allow you to start fresh.

  • Press and hold the Wireless button (📶) and the Cancel button () together for 5 seconds.
  • The Wireless light should start blinking, indicating the printer is in setup mode.

Use HP Smart App for Setup

HP Smart is the easiest way to connect your printer to Wi-Fi.

  • Download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store or HP Smart
  • Open the app and click “+” to add your printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Print the Network Configuration Page (Optional)

If the printer is not printing this page:

  • Make sure the printer is powered on and has paper loaded.
  • Press the Information button (ℹ️) once. This should print the Network Configuration Page.
  • If it doesn’t print, try pressing Information + Cancel together.

Check for Firmware Updates

Sometimes outdated firmware can cause connectivity issues.

Try a full reset:

  • Unplug the printer while it’s powered on.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and repeat the steps above.
