Hi @Ba_r_tek,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble resetting the app password for your HP DeskJet 3633 printer, here are some steps you can try.

Use the Default Password: Sometimes, the default password can be used to reset the app settings. The default password is usually located on a sticker on the printer itself or in the printer's documentation. Common default passwords include "admin" or "password".

Factory Reset: If the default password doesn't work, you might need to perform a factory reset on your printer. Keep in mind that a factory reset will erase all your printer settings, so be prepared to set it up again from scratch.

To perform a factory reset, follow these general steps:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Press and hold the Power button and the Cancel button (the X button) simultaneously.
  • While holding the buttons, turn on the printer.
  • Continue holding the buttons for about 10-15 seconds until the printer's lights flash, indicating the reset.

Update the App: Ensure that you're using the latest version of the HP Smart app. Sometimes, updates can fix compatibility or password reset issues.

Network Connection: Make sure your printer is properly connected to your network, as this can impact the functionality of the app and the ability to reset the password.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
