Hi,

I have a HP DeskJet 2700 Series printer. When I power it on, the Wireless blue light is blinking, HP Smart is locating the printer but unable to add it to the Windows.

The printer CANNOT print any of the self-test pages: Printer Status Report, Network Configuration Page, Printer Information Page.

I installed new cartrages, there is no paper jam.

Please help!

It sounds like you're experiencing connectivity issues with your HP DeskJet 2700 Series printer, specifically related to its wireless connection and the inability to print self-test pages. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

 

Check Wireless Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your wireless network. You can try the following steps to reconnect it:

  • Press the Wireless button on the printer control panel to view the network status.
  • If the wireless light is blinking, it indicates that the printer is not connected to a network. Press the Wireless button to start the wireless setup wizard and follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect to your wireless network.
  • Make sure that the wireless router is functioning properly and that other devices can connect to it.

Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting the printer, computer, and wireless router can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off the printer, computer, and router, wait for a few minutes, and then turn them back on.

Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve compatibility issues and improve printer functionality.

Check Printer Drivers: Make sure that the printer drivers are properly installed on your Windows 11 computer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website or use the HP Smart app to automatically install the correct drivers.

Reset Printer: If other troubleshooting steps fail, you can try resetting the printer to its factory defaults. Keep in mind that this will erase any custom settings, so you may need to set up the printer again from scratch.
