HP DeskJet 4130e: WiFi Direct guide not showing / printing username and password

Hello,

I have a HP DeskJet 4130e printer, and I would like to connect using my mobile phone directly as I have not WiFi router.

To do this, I intend to use WiFi Direct feature offered by HP with my Samsung S23, however, after enabling this feature on the printer directly and then proceeding to print the "Printer Information Page", I am not presented with the WiFi Direct username and password to connect to the network.

I have scoured the Internet yet to no avail, why is this information not being given for me to connect with the mobile device.

Appreciate the assistance.

Print Wi-Fi Direct Info

To get the Wi-Fi Direct name and password:

The printer will print a page showing:

Wi-Fi Direct name (SSID)

Wi-Fi Direct password

Connect Your Phone

On your Samsung S23, go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi.

Look for a network like DIRECT-xx-HP DeskJet 4130e.

Tap it and enter the password from the printed page.
