We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently moved house and I am trying to set up my existing printer on my new wifi.  I had the cable out and ran through the guided setup but I got an error as it said my wifi is 5ghz and it needs to be 2.4ghz.  Anyone had this issue before?  It was telling me to select another network but I don't have one, this is the only one I have.  Any help appreciated!

Thanks

That printer model supports 2,4Ghz wireless only, can't connect to 5GHz wireless.

Check your wireless router you will probably need to enable 2,4GHz wireless ( probably OFF by default)

Thanks so much for that.  I managed to contact the router people and they told me how to switch it to the 2.4ghz option as I seem to have both
