Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

My printer has all lights blinking and the eO error. I have run all of the steps to restart printer, router, and phone. When I try to connect to WiFi on the hp app, the error says, this will take too long and then tells me to cancel or try again. I try again and it will not work! Is there any way to fix this?

@Headlax, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP Deskjet 2755e Wi-Fi Setup Issue!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

When your HP Deskjet 2755e printer displays an e0 error and has all lights blinking, it usually indicates a problem with the Wi-Fi setup or a printer error state. Here are some steps you can follow to try and resolve this issue:

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off your printer and disconnect the power cord.
  • Restart your router by unplugging it for about 60 seconds.
  • Restart your phone or computer.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and turn it on.

Wi-Fi Setup Mode:

  • Ensure that your printer is in Wi-Fi setup mode. This happens when the blue wireless light blinks quickly. If not, you can activate the Wi-Fi setup mode manually by pressing the Wireless button and the Cancel button on the printer control panel simultaneously. The wireless light should blink to indicate it's ready for setup.

HP Smart App:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your mobile device or computer. You can download it from your app store or 123.hp.com.
  • Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device, as it's required for automatic printer detection.
  • Open the HP Smart app and attempt to add the printer again.

Proximity to Router:

  • Ensure that your printer is within 8 meters (26 feet) of your Wi-Fi router.

Reset Network Settings:

  • On the HP Deskjet 2755e, press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button for 5 seconds to restore network settings to their defaults.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

I have tried all of the reset restart and this is the error I get when setting up a new printer. Wi-Fi set up on my existing printer is not happening either.

@Headlax, thanks for sharing the screenshot — I can imagine how frustrating it must feel seeing all the lights flashing and the setup stuck in a loop. Let’s walk through this step by step and try to calm the printer down.

Power reset everything – unplug the printer’s power cord while it’s still on, wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in. Also restart your router and the device with the HP Smart app (phone/PC). This gives them all a “fresh breath.”

Force Wi-Fi Setup Mode – on the Deskjet 2755e, press Wireless + Cancel buttons together until the blue light starts blinking steadily. That’s the printer saying “I’m ready to pair.”

Update the HP Smart App – make sure you’re running the newest version. Also, turn Bluetooth ON on your phone/computer since the app uses it to “sniff out” the printer nearby.

Bring them closer – keep the printer within 5–6 feet of your Wi-Fi router during setup. Distance can make the handshake between devices fail.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
