HP Deskjet 3050 J610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried everything, but still cannot connect. USB to network process, reinstalling software, setting the IP address, a hard printer reset. Please help. Printer works on USB, but not network. I recently moved and had to go from ATT to Spectrum.

Thanks,

Ky

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to connect the printer to the new router, I am glad to assist you.

Are you getting any error messages while connecting?

Meanwhile:-

This printer supports only 2.4Ghz bandwidth.

Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? If yes, make sure the dual-band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks.

Reply with the requested information for further assistance.

Cheers.

Sandy,

Thanks very much! I forgot I used to have 5GHz and 2.4 GHz setup on the network. I will double check this b/c I am sure right now the router is only setup for 5GHZ. I will let you know.

Thanks,

Kyo
