Can you describe what you mean by "cut off"?

What can you tell us that would help us understand what you are printing, using?

For example,

Is the whole document / image / unknown content not printing in its entirety?

That is, does only part of the content print while cutting off entire sections?

If yes,

Are the paper size and type settings a match in both the job setup AND when checked on the printer?

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management

If yes,

Is the paper size, type, AND weight supported by the printer and in combination for the current job setup?

OR

Is only one side of the document / image / unknown content "cut"?

That is, is the margin on one side larger than margins on the other three sides?

If yes,

Are the margins set to 1/2 inch on every side to prevent the lopsided result caused by the larger margin requirement on the bottom edge?

Print Margin Bottom (A4)12.7 mm
Print Margin Left (A4)3 mm
Print Margin Right (A4)3 mm
Print Margin Top (A4)3 mm

Some types of content and the application used to print that content can be specifically set to engage even margins.

  • What software / application are you using?
  • What is the content type?  For example, document (and type), Image?
  • What is the exact Paper Size selected in the application / software?
  • Paper Type?

If using HP Smart > Windows,

Are you using the HP Smart Printing queue?

Is the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software installed?
