@rmhatesprinters, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

When your HP Deskjet 4155e printer is showing a blinking wireless button and is offline, it may indicate a connectivity issue. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

1. Verify Printer and Network Connection:

  • Check the Wireless Light: Ensure the wireless light on your printer is on and not blinking. Blinking may indicate it's trying to connect to the network.
  • Confirm Network Presence: Make sure the printer is within the range of your Wi-Fi network. Ensure your laptop and printer are connected to the same network.

2. Restart Devices:

  • Sometimes, restarting the router, printer, and connected devices can resolve connectivity issues. Ensure all devices have been rebooted, including your router, laptop, and printer.

3. Reconnect the Printer to the Network:

  • Use the Wireless Setup Wizard:
    • If your printer has a touchscreen, navigate to Setup > Network/Wireless settings, and select Wireless Setup Wizard. Follow the prompts to connect to your network.
    • For printers without a touchscreen, press and hold the Wireless button for a few seconds until the light starts to blink. Then, press the WPS button on your router to establish a connection.

4. Check Network Settings:

  • Ensure that no settings such as Wireless Isolation or MAC address filtering are preventing the connection.

5. Print a Network Configuration Page:

  • To assess the network status, print a configuration page via the control panel to see the current connectivity status and settings.

6. Enable Wi-Fi Setup Mode:

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
