Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

I changed my wifi provider several months ago.  I knew connecting printer to a new wifi was going to be a Hassel, but I have been trying most of the day.  Laptop and phone both say printer is offline, but can't seem to locate it when I try.  I have turned off and unplugged printer, router everything.  I get blinking blue light on printer but neither phone or laptop will find the darn printer.  I am sick of buying new printers every year.  I don't even finish ink as fast as I replace printers.  I think I have about 3 to toss in dumpster now.  This is ridiculous.

I might not fully understand what all is happening.

DeskJet printers are indeed economy models -- they do not generally need to be replaced if they fall off the network.

Yes, the mechanics can fail --  it is unusual for the hardware to so quickly fail.

Perhaps check the electrical outlet where you are plugging in the printers -- Too little or too much power to the printer can result in a variety of issues.

True - The blinking blue light does indicate the printer is not connected to your network.

In this case,

Have you not done so,

Restore the network defaults so the printer can be ready to connect to your network.
