I have a HP ENVY 4520 printer and I cannot connect to the wireless Internet to print From my iPhone. When putting my password in the printer says that the password is incorrect. How can I get the wireless connected to my printer.

Hi @Geno75,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that you are facing connectivity issues. I’d like to help!
Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.
If your HP ENVY 4520 printer is not connecting to your wireless network and is showing an "incorrect password" message, here are steps to resolve the issue and connect the printer to Wi-Fi:
1. Verify the Wi-Fi Password
- Double-check the Wi-Fi Password: Ensure that you are entering the correct password for your wireless network. The password is case-sensitive, so make sure to enter capital and lowercase letters exactly as required.
- Test with Another Device: Try connecting another device, like a smartphone or laptop, to the Wi-Fi network using the same password to confirm that it works.
2. Reset Network Settings on the Printer
- Restore Network Defaults:
- On the printer's control panel, tap the Wireless icon to open the network settings.
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon.
- Scroll down and select Restore Network Settings.
- Confirm the reset.
This will clear any previous network settings and allow you to start fresh.
3. Reconnect the Printer to the Wi-Fi Network
Use the Wireless Setup Wizard:
- On the printer's control panel, tap the Wireless icon.
- Go to Settings (gear icon).
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
- The printer will search for available wireless networks.
- Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter the correct Wi-Fi password carefully.
Connect via WPS (if your router supports it):
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- Within two minutes, press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for about 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts blinking.
- The printer should connect to the network automatically.
4. Check Router Settings
- Check the Router’s 2.4 GHz Band: Ensure that your router’s 2.4 GHz band is enabled. Many HP printers, including the HP ENVY 4520, connect to the 2.4 GHz band rather than the 5 GHz band.
- Ensure MAC Address Filtering is Disabled: If your router has MAC address filtering enabled, you may need to add the printer's MAC address to the allowed list, or temporarily disable the filtering.
Please find the remaining steps in the next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
