We changed WiFi network and now the printer is off line. We can not connect to WiFi as the touch screen is black, but the blue wifi icon is flashing. Hoe, question mark and back icons are also visible, but when you touch any of the icons nothing happens. Touch screen remains grey with lines. I have just instal brand new black cartridge, but can not print.

Hi @Peter41461,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there may be a software or hardware issue with your HP ENVY 5055 printer's touchscreen display. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue,
- Power Cycle: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This might help reset the printer's settings.
- Reset Network Settings: If you're unable to access the touchscreen menu, you may need to perform a network reset by pressing and holding the Wireless button on the printer for several seconds until the wireless light starts blinking. This should reset the network settings and allow you to reconnect to your new WiFi network.
- Check for Firmware Updates: If the printer has outdated firmware, it may cause issues with the touchscreen functionality. Check HP's official website for any available firmware updates for your printer model and follow the instructions to update it.
- Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can try performing a factory reset on the printer. Keep in mind that this will reset all settings on the printer, including network settings and any custom configurations. To perform a factory reset, refer to the printer's user manual for instructions.
Since you mentioned that the printer is displaying some icons but not responding to touch inputs, it's likely a hardware issue with the touchscreen itself.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
