HP ENVY PRO 6452
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Every time I go to print its stuck in offline mode sometimes on sometimes it's off I have Wi-Fi through my entire house and the only thing giving me an issue is the printer. I restart my computer & still an issue, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app & nothing.

Is there an option to be usb wired instead of wifi?

Yes, you can run the printer on a USB cable.

You will lose the use of HP Smart for Windows application (printer software).

Product Specifications for the HP ENVY Pro 6452 All-in-One Printer (5SE47A)

Connectivity

Ports
1 Hi-Speed USB 2.0; 1 Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual band)
Wireless capability
Yes, built-in Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n

If you wish to do so,

Before you give up on wireless,

Consider...

This printer supports dual band - that is, 2.4 GHz and 5G, too.

If your router runs on both  bands,

Make sure the router is broadcasting on both 2.4 GHz and 5GHz

Assign a separate SSID - network name - to each bandwidth.

Connect the printer to the preferred bandwidth / SSID (network name).

The router, as long as it is broadcasting on both bandwidths, can handle the traffic that comes in from devices on one band or the other.

Although the SSID network names are different for each bandwidth, the Wi-Fi passwords can be the same for both.

Failure to manage the network can cause devices to trip over each other, cause drop-offs, cause conflicts.

Printer might like to be switched to TCP/IP connection type.

Method - Create TCP IP port

** Install – Optional - Port Issues - Create a TCP/IP port **

TCP/IP can resolve odd connection, scanning, and installation problems.

Create / Switch to a TCP/IP Port to facilitate communication and prevent ‘offline’ issues

How-to “Create TCP Port” Contributed by  greenturtle

1. Print a Configuration Page to get the printer's IPv4 address (you can also tap on the wireless icon on the Front panel of your Printer to get the IP address)
2. On your PC, go to Control Panel, from Devices and Printers, Right-Click the printer and Left-Click Printer Properties, select the Ports tab.
3. Click Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP Port, then select New Port and follow the wizard.
4. Type in the proper IP address for the printer.

This video resource will show you how to do it:
Create & Use TCP IP port

Note that you can ALWAYS revert back to the original port that the HP software installed by selecting the HP port under the Ports tab (in Printer Properties)
