Product: HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I received notice that my printer was off-line. However, when I went to my printer, the touchscreen displays as if I just turned the printer on and it is booting, but it does not go beyond the first dot as if it.is frozen. As a result of this, the touchscreen is nonresponsive to my touch and because I cannot get my printer online, I cannot perform any further diagnostics or troubleshooting. However, I have tried the steps to perform a power reset but when I plug the printer back in the touchscreen reappears as if nothing happened and without my pushing power button on

 

My first thought is that I have to buy another printer unless someone tells me something different. For example, is there any chance that I could uninstall the printer and perform a hardwire installation using an ethernet cable to connect the printer to my computer? Any suggestions will be appreciated. I just want to avoid wasting hours from my day if the hidden solution is to throw this thing away.
