My HP Envy 4520 has been "printing" my documents without any error message, but the document is just coming out as a blank sheet of paper. When I try printing an alignment or test page, it is also a blank page. The black ink is low-ish but without an error message, and I just installed color ink. The only thing the printer has printed somewhat successfully is when I printed from the "estimated ink levels" page, for the color ink, but that was just empty brackets on the left, and brackets with the three color lines inside on the right. Can someone help me repair this?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.

  • Are you able to make copies from the printer?

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
