@Stuart118, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
A flashing blue Wi-Fi icon on your HP Envy 6030e printer means it's not connected to a wireless network — it’s in Wi-Fi setup mode or trying to reconnect. Here’s how you can fix this:

Option 1: Reconnect using HP Smart app (Recommended)

  1. Download the HP Smart app on your phone or computer:
  2. Open the app, and make sure Bluetooth and Location are turned ON on your phone.
  3. Tap “+” or Add Printer. Your printer (HP Envy 6030e) should appear if it's in setup mode (flashing blue light = setup mode).
  4. Select your Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and let the app complete the connection.
  5. Once connected, the blue Wi-Fi light should stay solid.

Option 2: Reset Wi-Fi settings (if it's not showing up)

If the printer doesn’t appear in the app, try resetting the Wi-Fi:

  1. Press and hold the Wireless button (📶) and the Cancel button () together for 5 seconds.
  2. Wait for the blue Wi-Fi light to start flashing again — this puts the printer back into setup mode.
  3. Now open the HP Smart app and try adding the printer again.

Additional Tips:

  • Make sure your phone or PC is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
