Hi @Tosline

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issues with your HP Envy 6400 All-in-One Printer:

1. Oversized Font Issue

  • Check Document Settings: Make sure the document’s page setup is set to the correct size (e.g., Letter, A4) and that the font size is appropriate in the application you’re using.
  • Printer Preferences: Go to your printer settings:
    • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
    • Right-click your printer, select Printing preferences, and check the settings for any scaling options.
    • Click here for creating cusom size
  • Update Drivers: Ensure you have the latest printer drivers from the HP website. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause formatting issues.click here

2. Multiple Copies Printing

On your PC search control panel, open control panel, Select printer properties, Select the "number of copies" it must be set to 2 change it to 1 and check if it helps.

  • Printer Settings: In the print dialog, check if the number of copies is set correctly. Sometimes, default settings may override your selection.
  • Application Settings: Make sure that the application you are printing from isn’t set to print multiple copies by default.
  • Check for Print Queue Issues: Sometimes, documents can get stuck in the print queue, leading to multiple prints. Clear the print queue and try again.

3. Update Firmware:

Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates via the HP Smart app or HP's support site, click here

  • Check Connections: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your network or computer, whether via USB or Wi-Fi.

Additional Steps

  • Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: This tool can help diagnose and fix many common printing issues. Click here

If the issue still persists uninstall the printer software from your PC and install the latest printer drivers.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
