Microsoft Windows 11

I just bought a new HP ENVY 6420e printer 2 days ago and trying to set up the printer using the HP smart app both through Iphone and Laptop Windows 11. For some reason, I dont know why and not sure why that everytime the hp smart app trying to find my printer, my printer name wasnt listed and could not found. I have try to install and uninstall tthe app, I have cliclked the printer reset Wifi button and still there's  nothing change, the status light on the printer still in "blue" instead of "purple" but the "blue"  status lighthing is not pulsing, which means that the printer already connnected to the wifi network?? Please help me solve this!

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting connectivity issues, I am glad to assist you.

Restore the printer to the original factory defaults

1. Lift the cartridge access door to expose the cartridge area.

2. While the cartridge access door is open, press and hold (the Power button) and Wireless button on the back of the printer for three seconds.

Refer to page number 27 in this user guide for the steps to connect the printer using the HP Smart app:- Click here

Keep me posted.

If this helps, please mark the public post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
