HP Envy won't print unless I do each document manually. When checking settings on my computer I get

I cannot print automatically from my computer.  I must go to the printer and toggle between automatic and manual and then it will print.  When I check devices, I get the error message "attention required" but can't find a solution.

I am guessing that the default settings do not match what the document is the PC is trying to print.

On my photo printer I had to go and press "ok" on the front panel as the printer did not know I had 4x6 size photo paper loaded.  In addition, my smartphone printing app did not have the option of selecting the back feeder or the main feeder.

Bring up printing preferences and ensure that the setting match what you are trying to print

I assume you are using the full feature driver, windows, MacOS or linux.
