HP JUST SHUT MY HP PRINTER OFF

I just moved about 10days ago.

I setup my Printer and it worked A-OK.

My new Senior Apt comes with FREE wi-fi.

Several days ago my Printer stopped working.

I just found out that HP shut my PRINTER OFF.

My wi-fi is  5G and HP has blocked 5G from working on my PRINTER.

Why would HP does this.

My only Internet connection is 5G.

I can no longer PRINT anything because HP has shut my PRINTER OFF and Blocked my only wi-fi connection.

Hi Lambchop7777,

Very sorry for the frustration you are experiencing.  I don't think HP is intentionally turning of the Wi-Fi or 5GHz function in your printer.  We are tracking an issue that some customers experience where Wi-Fi gets unexpectedly turned off or disabled, but can be re-enabled again.  Let's see if this is the issue you are experiencing.

Do you still have the Wireless icon on the home screen like this?

I"m having some issues with this problem.

I did print out a status report and HP stated in writing that HP

turned OFF my HP printers because of issues with 5G rollout.

HP in my opinion had to right to SHUT OFF my Printer or change any settingss.

This has caused me much stress and I do not know if I will ever use the printer again.

HP  had NO Right to TURN OFF my PRINTER.

I just moved and The Printer worked fine for several days and then it stopped.

My HP Printer was HACKED by HP.

This is Legally wrong in so many ways.

Hi LAMBCHOP7777,

HP doesn't have a policy of making a setting change to disable the Wi-Fi feature of your printer.  I think you might have run into a bug in the printer firmware where the Wi-Fi feature gets into a state considered "Locked out by the IT administrator".  In this case the IT administrator is not HP.  The Officejet Pro 9015 is a printer model that is also intended for office environments with an IT admin that might want to lockout certain control panel features from being modified by regular users.

Would it be possible for you to share a photo of the report page you mentioned?  That way we could confirm if this is the issue you are experiencing and help you resolve it.

Thanks for the Information.

However I have a Printer Report.

It stated that HP had diabled 5G on a Temporary Basis.

I have the Printout.

Thiis action has also caused problems with another Electronic Item which was on the same Wi Fi Network.

That item a pedistal to a BOSE Wave 4 system has to be sent back to BOSE to be repaired.

Could be caused by anything or The action HP did ?

This is a my Home Office and I control it and set it up.

When I get the time I will try to setup my HP Printer again as I only have 5G wi-fi where I live since July 6th.
