Hello Community,

i've got a new internet router and therefor a new wireless network.

Accessing the config menu or printing via cable works, but setting up a new wireless connection is not working.

When launching the printer network assistent to find a ssid it can't find anything - but there are really tons of wireless networks around me, so why can't the printer find any of these? Even the custom menu setup for manual adding the ssid does not work.

Already tried to reset the network settings and searched google or this forum, but with no luck in my case.

Please help.

This printer setup is horrible and im really upset with the configuration about this printer.

Thx in advance

Do you have a WPS button on your router? That would be the easiest way to connect the router and printer wirelessly.

The blue wi-fi led is blinking or not when you turn the printer ON ?

The printer can only connect to a 2,4GHz wireless band, make sure if your new router is dual-band that 2.4GHz band is enabled.

Network is already 2,4 Ghz 😕

As you can see in my text, the ssid scan didn't find any of the tons of networks around me. Not one. Seems strange huh?

The WPS connect worked like a charm. Thank you 🙂
