Getting this connection error whenever I try to connect my Laser 107w to my wifi. I've tried everything really, tried using a different computer, even tried my phone via the HP Smart app. This printer has been used before using HP Direct where you directly connect to the printer to print but now I want the printer to connect to the wifi itself, not devices connecting to the printer so maybe that has something to do with it. I don't know anymore. Any help and suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you so much.

Hi @Keler,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing an issue with your printer.
A) Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain.
1) Take out the cartridges
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges
B) Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware and let me know if that resolves the issue.
C) Uninstall the printer software by following the steps from this link and restart the devices.
D) Install the printer software by clicking on the link again and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Sadly no, this did not work but I did notice a pattern whenever I try a new method. It fails when the printer goes to sleep. Doing some research on how to change when the printer automatically goes to sleep after some time, I've discovered that you need to be able to access the software side of things, but to access the software side of things, I need it to be connected to Wi-Fi. It's just an endless cycle that I hope to break. You got any thoughts on that? Thanks
