Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a printer that I cannot afford to replace.   I would like to fix it, it has a great scanner, a great quality of printing in the pages, and I am not about to be able to afford another this upcoming year.  I am retired.

The printer was running on Wifi before, but I changed provider, and went through the effort to fix this alone, but it needed to be plugged in to the PC, which meant I had to move my furniture around in my small apartment.

Thus, with this in mind, the following is happening:  when I try to print a document, my printer displays an error message indicating that I have the wrong paper size in the printer, even though I have the correct paper size. I then override the error message by pressing the OK button, and the printer prints only the first page of the document.

I then have to press cancel repeatedly for each page that did not print, and then select the second page only for printing, overriding the message that I  have the wrong paper size.

My printer is connected to my Windows 10 system via USB.   Yes, I have an older PC and it runs Windows 10.

Hi @AuntyCrappy,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Do not worry. I'd like to help!

Let's perform an NVRAM reset to restore the printer to its original settings and see if that works.

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
