I have a HP LaserJet P1505n that will not reset the IP configuration properly. It wipes the manual configuration, setting it all back to 0.0.0.0, but will not switch to DHCP, and seems to be stuck on Manual configuration. My BT SmartHub2 is seeing it and assigning an IP, but the printer obviously isn't picking it up. Please help!!

I saw A_Gayathri a HP Administrator, responded to TheDougieDoug who had the same problem, the answer was to reset the NVRAM, this was PM'd to the user, can a HP Admin do the same for me please!

Hi @GeogieGirlz,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

It sounds like your HP Laserjet P1505n’s Jetdirect card is stuck in manual mode, clearing the IP address to 0.0.0.0 but not switching to DHCP. The good news? It looks like you're already doing the basic reset. The next step is a full NVRAM reset, which restores the network card’s firmware and clears all stored settings. This often unlocks DHCP functionality. Here's a guided approach that I am sending you in a private message. Do try and let us know how it goes.
