HP LaserJet MFP M234dwe HP Print Service Plugin Not Working

HP LaserJet MFP M234dwe

I recently bought HP LaserJet MFP M234dwe. But what a challenge to install it using HP Smart. After installing in the printer, my issue is that when trying to print a test page, HP Print Service Plugin is not able to locate the printer. Anyone had similar experience with this? Fixes?

Hi , 

 

Thank you for the feedback. Could you share the screenshot of issue and version numbers for Android OS, HP Smart app version and HP Print Service Plugin version. 

 

Are you able to print successfully now?

Printer doesn't work wirelessly with nighthawk router. It needs to be wired. This is a flaw that HP needs to address.

Hi,

Your network environment have much affect in here so we need to troubleshoot the problem to get a better understanding of the problem.

 

Please print a Configuration Report and clarify the exact Firmware Datecode of the printer:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-mfp-m232e-m237e-printer-series/38099931/model/36120...

 

Also, unplug the Ethernet cable and then print and evaluate a Wireless Network Test Report

 

May you see any warning or alert listed within its troubleshooting section?
