I'm trying to get my P1102w printer to connect to the new network but it's not seeing it. When I go to HP help it says to select HP Set up on available wi-fi networks but that's not showing up either. My phone, tv and laptop all connected to the new network immediately, but I can't get the printer online. Any advice you can give is appreciated.

Hi @techdumdum,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP LaserJet P1102w is having trouble connecting to your new network. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve this issue.
Reset Printer’s Network Settings
- Turn the printer off.
- Press and hold the Cancel button (X) on the printer’s control panel.
- While holding the Cancel button, turn the printer on and continue holding the button for 10-15 seconds. This should reset the printer’s network settings.
Connect the Printer to Your New Network
If your printer’s network settings have been reset, try setting it up on the new network:
Option 1: Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) (If your router supports it)
- Press and hold the WPS button on your router for 3-5 seconds.
- On the printer, press and hold the Wireless button until the wireless light starts blinking.
- The printer should automatically connect to the network.
Option 2: Using HP Smart App or Embedded Web Server (EWS)
- Download the HP Smart App on your phone or laptop and follow the steps to add a printer.
- If prompted, select "Wi-Fi Setup" and follow the instructions.
- You can also open a browser, go to the printer’s IP address, and access the Embedded Web Server to manually enter your network information.
Check for HP Setup Network on Wi-Fi
If you are still not seeing the "HP Setup" network, try these steps:
- Power cycle the printer by turning it off, unplugging it for 30 seconds, and then turning it back on.
- Try connecting the printer to your computer via a USB cable temporarily.
- Download the HP Print and Scan Doctor on your PC (if you're using one). This tool can help you find and connect the printer.
Update Printer Firmware
Outdated firmware can cause connectivity issues. Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer by visiting the HP Support Page or using the HP Smart App.
Reset Router
Sometimes, restarting your router or performing a soft reset can resolve network issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
