Hi,

You would not need NVRAM reset for a such, please follow below steps:

First, make sure there is no USB cable connected to the printer.

Make sure the printer is ready with a solid power light, press cancel to wake up the printer from sleep mode.

Press and hold the wireless button till the Attention light ( i ) starts blinking, release teh button and allow the printer to restart.

From a wirelessly connected device (a PC or a mobile device), ensure you are connected to your home Wi-Fi.

Open HP Smart and click the plus sign, then click on Add Printer and follow the steps to connect the printer to your new wireless network.

I am afarid it doesn't work
1. I can push the wireless button for ages but the contol light never starts blinking

2. When I try to add it through HP Smart, the tool doesn't find the printer wireless, I move on and plug in the cable, Then Hp Smart detects my WIFI Password en then I'm stuck with a password request for the Printer

As said before I lost that password

The only option I guess is starting from sctratch as it were a new printer out of the box
Factory reset doesn't work either
