Why does my HP Laserjet Pro MFP M283fdw stay constantly ''offline''....and the scanner scans but image disappears? I have used AirPrint as HP has not managed to supply any drivers for my 2 x identical Multifunction Printers. It is now worse as Apple has just updated my software to Monterey 12.3. I have a strong wireless connection and a substantially ''fast'' connection....One moment the Printer works perfectly...and a few moments later it is ''offline. Is there any PARTICULAR way of installing theses machines or any driver that I still require? Please help!

Hi Thanks. I have noticed that the 2 x HP Laserjet printers both ''automatically'' gravitate to the 2.4Ghz side of the dual Router we have in our Office. HP has released an update 35.5.0, on 18 March 2022...this seems to have the problem ''sorted'' ....scanner also sorted...

Are you using 5Ghz wireless or 2.4? Most HP machines do not stay connected to 5Ghz wireless consistently and the best solution is to set the SSID for the 2.4Ghz channel to a unique ID and allow the printer to only connect to the 2.4Ghz channel.
