HP Office Jet 5255 Printer establish wireless connection

HP OfficeJet 5255 lost connection to wireless today due to new router.  I am trying to type in my password on the printer screen for the wireless connection.  Password starts with "H" and I cannot get to it on the screen.  Is there any way to type it in the HPSmart App on the PC and establish the connection?

I would still like the answer to the original question  "Is there any way to type it in the HPSmart App on the PC and establish the connection?"  

However, my persistence in entering the password on the printer screen help me to succeed in reestablishing the wireless connection between the printer and the network.  I had to be very quick in selecting the letter(s)etc in the password if the letter required was in the middle or end of the 3 character block displayed (same idea for the numbers in the password).
