Hi @Dispatch3,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 printer's wireless light is not on, but the screen indicates that the internet connection is successful. Here are the steps to troubleshoot and possibly resolve the issue:

  1. Verify Wireless Icon Light:

    • On the HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 control panel, the wireless light should be solid blue when the printer is connected to a wireless network. If it’s solid blue, your printer has successful wireless connectivity.

    • If the light is blinking slowly, the wireless connection is active but the printer is not connected. A fast blinking light indicates a wireless connection issue.

Wireless Light Example

Check Wireless Network Settings:

  • Ensure that the printer and the connected devices are on the same network.

  • If the wireless light is off, double-check whether an Ethernet cable is connected, as this would automatically turn off the wireless feature.

Using Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • Try using the Wireless Setup Wizard through the printer’s control panel. Swipe down to open the Dashboard, touch the Wireless icon, then Wireless Settings, and select Wireless Setup Wizard.

Reset Network Settings:

  • You may need to restore the network settings to factory defaults and then set up the wireless network again. To do this, navigate to the Wireless Settings menu and select Restore Network Settings.

Test the Connection:

  • Print a wireless test report from the printer to check the status of the wireless connection. This report can provide diagnostic information if there are any problems with the connection.

Ensure HP Smart App Setup:

  • Make sure the HP Smart app is used for setup, and check if the printer displays as connected and registered under the app.

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.
