Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I am trying to set up instant ink for my printer, but in order to do that, I need the code which is included in my printer's email address. When I press the button to get the info page to print or toe acquire the email address, I just get a message that says, "Acquiring email address," with the blue rotating circle above the message. It will then return to the home screen after several minutes of doing this. How do I fix this problem?
