I purchased this printer about 3 months ago. It worked for the 1st month just fine. Then it stopped printing. I bought all new ink cartridges and installed them- but still did not work. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled. Still not working. It will print the test pages from the printer (not from my desk top) Have checked internet connection and all is well.  I can print copies and I can scan. Just won't print from my desk top. I have gone thru all the steps with the HP Smart App and it says no issues have been found. What could be wrong and any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks a bunch 🙂

I understand you are unable to print.

 

To assist better-

 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device? 

 

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further. 

 

You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer -  Print Quality Issues 

 

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hello,

Sorry - I was not notified that anyone had responded. 

I can scan and I can make copies- but I can not print from desktop. It will print a test page from the printer

but not from the desk top. I have tried all your suggestions. 

The print doctor says the printer is fine . thanks
