I have followed recommendations to restart router, computer, and printer. I have reset the printer network. I have reconnected printer to same wifi as computer (Desktop). I can print from my iPhone, but not from the desktop. I have uninstalled printer and reinstalled. Any other ideas? Thanks!

@Drammaw, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
If you have already followed basic steps like restarting your router, computer, and printer, and reinstalling the printer, yet unable to print from your desktop, try these additional troubleshooting steps:
Check Wireless Network Connectivity:
- Ensure that both your desktop and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Print a wireless network test page from the printer to verify the connection. This can be done from the printer’s control panel by navigating to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Test Report.
Firewall and Security Software:
- Temporarily disable any firewall or security software on your desktop. Sometimes, these can block the communication between your computer and the printer.
- After disabling, try printing again.
Verify Printer Port Configuration:
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e printer and select Printer properties.
- Navigate to the Ports tab and ensure that the correct port is selected. It should correspond to the IP address of your printer.
Set Printer as Default:
- In Control Panel > Devices and Printers, ensure the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e is set as the default printer. Right-click the printer and select Set as default printer.
IP Address Configuration:
- You can set a fixed IP address for the printer to ensure there is no IP conflict.
- On the printer's control panel, go to Settings > Advanced setup > IP settings > Manual and enter the IP address.
Check Printer Status on Desktop:
- On your desktop, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e printer and select See what's printing.
- If the printer status is Offline, right-click on the printer and select Use Printer Online.
Print Queue Issues:
- Sometimes print jobs stuck in the queue can cause issues. Clear the print queue by going to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e, select See what's printing, and cancel all documents.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed from the HP Support website. Outdated drivers can cause communication issues.
Check HP Smart App:
- Use the HP Smart app on your desktop to diagnose and fix issues. The app provides additional troubleshooting steps.
