HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 All-in-One Printer

Hello HP Support,

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 (approx. 3 years old) that suddenly shows “Wireless: Disabled” on the configuration page. There is no Ethernet cable connected, and the Wireless Setup Wizard is not accessible. The network menu only shows Ethernet.

I have attempted:

  • Restoring factory settings

  • Restoring network settings

  • Power cycling

  • All suggested touchscreen reset sequences

I’ve been informed by HP phone support that it is out of warranty, but this appears to be a firmware-related lockout, not standard wear or user error.

Serial Number: Removed

I am requesting support to re-enable the wireless functionality or guidance on how to perform a semi-full reset (which is not accessible through the interface).

Tami

Thank you for reaching out — and for the clear, detailed description of what you’re experiencing with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9018. I can completely understand how frustrating it must feel to have your wireless functionality disappear overnight, especially after trying every recommended reset with no success. You've done everything right so far.
