HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e All-in-One Printer

Recently purchased HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e. It seems to have no capability of canceling a print job. My old printer had a visible "X" that I could immediately press. Help please.

Welcome to the HP English Community --

There are differences between this printer model series and printers you might have had in the past.

One of the important differences is how the Printer Control Panel works.

The Printer Control Panel features and functions are explained in the  User Guide - HP OfficeJet Pro 9120e Series

(Page 3)

Cancel is not listed as a choice.

What to do?

Cancel a Job - Examples

==========================================

If using your printer with a Windows computer, you can cancel jobs using the methods used before for this task.

If the job is still in the queue -- and is not "stuck" -- open the Print Queue, Select the job and Cancel

> > > Windows 11 < < <

Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners

Select Printer from list

Open Print Queue

Open Menu ( … ) top right of list > Select Pause All / Resume All / Cancel All

OR

If more than one job in the list > Right-Click on the file/job name > Pause / Restart / Cancel

OR

Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners

Select Printer from list

Scroll down

Select More devices and printers settings

Double-Left-Click on your printer icon

See what’s printing

Click (or Right-Click) on the job > Cancel

Note:  Exact wording varies

> > > Windows 10 < < <

Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners > Click Open queue

Click (or Right-Click) on the job > Cancel

==========================================

If you have access to the Embedded Web Server (EWS),

Open EWS > Open Section Jobs > Job Queue > Click open the menu > "Cancel All Jobs"

Sample

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section Jobs > Job Queue > Menu … > Cancel All Jobs or Export History
