HP OfficeJet Pro 7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

My HP Officejet 7720 is offline and not responding.  When tried to reboot, the screen displays the HP Logo and nothing else happens.  Is there another way to reboot besides unplugging?

@TSpeaks71, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It sounds like this printer has put you through the wringer, and I totally get the frustration. Let’s get this sorted once and for all.

First, with the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall outlet.

  1. Press and hold the power button on the printer for 20 seconds.
  2. Wait for 60 seconds and connect the power cord back in.
  3. This should reset the printer.

let me know if it passes the HP Logo and we can proceed further.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
